FAIRFIELD ??? Trustees of the Maine Community College System voted today to increase tuition at the state???s seven community colleges by 2.5 percent or $2 per credit hour, effective fall 2007. In approving the increase, the Board stipulated that the revenues generated by the tuition hike be targeted to faculty or staff positions working in direct support of students.
